I find cats to be one of the most interesting subjects I have photographed. They are highly expressive and do not care much for your art, or sitting when you need them to. With the onset of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, two cats that were meant to be neutered found love as cities around them went into lockdown - the result, a litter of five. And so goes the origin story of my current favourite companion.

 

This series focuses on life interrupted. Where once I would go about my day, completing chores, making music and reading, I now find myself interrupted - pausing to observe and photograph this curious companion who almost always manages to inspire and annoy me simultaneously.
