Deliciously Yours, published by Markings, is a manifestation of the chocolatier Lal Majid’s childhood passion for chocolate and pastries in a cookbook. In 2013 it was awarded Best Cookbook in the World for Pastry Sweets at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.​

The photography for the book was my first venture into food photography, and what eventually led me to fall in love with the genre too. Besides the fact that I got to sample a lot of the chocolate, I enjoyed the challenge of making the pastries look delicious on camera - it is no easy feat.
