Deliciously Yours, published by Markings, is a manifestation of the chocolatier Lal Majid’s childhood passion for chocolate and pastries in a cookbook. In 2013 it was awarded Best Cookbook in the World for Pastry Sweets at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

The photography for the book was my first venture into food photography, and what eventually led me to fall in love with the genre too. Besides the fact that I got to sample a lot of the chocolate, I enjoyed the challenge of making the pastries look delicious on camera - it is no easy feat.
